Q. I found a journal article in a database, but it’s not full-text. What do I do?

Answer

Follow these steps, in this order:

  1. Use the “Check Availability” link: Check Availability found in many of our databases. This will tell you if we have the article full-text in another database.
  2. Open a new tab in your browser and seach the online catalog. Use the  Journal Title Search option. This will tell you if we have the article in the library in print or microfilm.
  3. Go back to the tab where you have your database search.  Click on Interlibrary Loan request (you may have to make an account in ILLiad.
  4. Check the LibAnswers on ILLiad
